REFLEXOLOGY WITH RUTH Foundations of Responsive Practice — working course title Course preview | September 24, 2026 A developing online course for curious beginners, career changers and wellness practitioners interested in a foundation in reflexology. THE PROPOSED LEARNING PATH 1. Understand the work: an introduction to reflexology and Ruth's approach. 2. Prepare responsibly: consent, communication, comfort, setup and boundaries. 3. Learn the foundations: foot orientation, contact and Ruth-approved techniques. 4. Build a responsive session: pacing, feedback, session flow and reflection. 5. Demonstrate developing skills: practice, assessment and readiness. 6. Explore a practice: costs, scheduling, client communication and local requirements. PLANNED FORMAT Self-paced online lessons, demonstrations, supporting workbook activities and practical learning. Final hours, materials, assessments and support arrangements are still being developed. SCALP SCRATCHING A new chapter is planned for Ruth's book, The Reflexology Wave (working title). It is not yet part of the current manuscript. Scalp work is also a separate future teaching idea, not a confirmed module in the foundation course. CURRENT STATUS The course is in development. Enrollment is not open. Pricing, launch date and final certificate details are not yet established. No continuing education credit, accreditation, professional licensure, earnings or health outcome is promised. A FIRST STEP Think about what draws you to this work, the time you could set aside for learning and practice, and the questions you would want answered before enrolling. Ruth Williams Mavor This preview reflects the September 24 working course blueprint. It is an introduction to the direction, not a final course prospectus.
